Our Biochar
Our Biochar is sourced from the forests in the western United States and is proven to be of the highest quality char available. Our pine sourced feed stock has excellent molecular structure and chemical composition which allows it to be one of the best binding chars on the market. Additionally, we work directly with the Forest Service to identify areas of forest that need to be thinned due to increased fire danger or infestation. By sourcing our char from these areas, we are helping to manage the forests of the western united states, reducing wildfire risk and creating carbon offsets.

We offer the best biochar available
-
Biochar is a highly adsorbent, specially-produced carbon with many different uses.
-
Biochar is produced using the practice of heating wood or other plant material (biomass) with little to no oxygen.
-
Biochar is thought to be the key component in a carbon-negative strategy to resolve several critical current ecological challenges.
-
Additionally, every one ton of carbon produced in our patented system creates approximately 3.2 tons of insured Carbon Dioxide Removal Credits that are tradeable in the carbon marketplace.
-
Biochar is produced by pyrolysis of biomass yielding a stable, porous material that is nearly pure carbon. (Pyrolysis is the thermo-chemical conversion process used to produce biochar and contributes to biochar’s ability to persist in soils with very little biological decay.
Our biochar has numerous applications including, but not limited to soil and water remediation/retention, animal health care supplements, agricultural/plant growth enhancement, strengthening and light-weighting of plastics as well as a variety of uses in residential and commercial building products including use as a cement and asphalt additive. Due to our biochars' ability to maintain consistent conditions in its pyrolysis kilns, the company can ensure consistency of product, production scalability, high quality and price competitiveness in a global market.
USAgrichar produces high quality biochar products with the ability to also offer carbon credits
Our patented a'pyrolysis' technology which operates kilns at>1200 degrees Fahrenheit under a vacuum. The process produces clean emissions while generating pure organic carbon from the wood cellulose. The process is unique in that it incorporates both “cation and anion exchange” properties into the carbon, which allows for the binding of specific deleterious impurities (toxins )and salts whilst permitting advantageous nutrients to be bio-available to flora.
